Hey Dennis - thanks for the info on shoots. Sounds very good. Is the no-scope pest shoot (.22Rimfire) at 25 yards, 50 yards, or ??

Hey Dennis - thanks for the info on shoots. Sounds very good. Is the no-scope pest shoot (.22Rimfire) at 25 yards, 50 yards, or ?? Rimfire #2 shoot. 5 shots at a pest type target (rat, crow etc) with an orange spot on it. Match must be shot from a field position- no bench rest. No scope allowed. Rifle can be used only ONCE in this match. Anticipated range is 35 yards. Smallest group with ALL shots on the pest and one in the orange win. If nobody meets this criteria, smallest group that has one round in Orange wins.

Miles, don't tell us that you're stayin' at that Happy Hooker RV park down near Ruidoso - been told there's only ugly fish in that pond.
Dennis - is it true that factory ammo cannot be used in your shoots?
RoninPhx - are you coming to the event?

Dennis - is it true that factory ammo cannot be used in your shoots? Now I have to go get supplies and learn to reload for everything. Can I use the same case or can you only use the case once? I think I scrounged up enough rifles so Michael and I can each shoot rather than using the same rifle more than once in each shoot.

Dennis - Is it OK to use "factory" ammo if it is made by a commercial reloader using once-fired brass? My powder got wet and am not sure we can get it dry enough to use through the measure before next weekend?

John, I arrived in the Tucson area yesterday. Sunny 70s today. I hope you brought your sunglasses and sunscreen..
The roads in California that I took (99, 58, etc) are in better shape this year than they were last year. Stay safe getting away from all that weather.
See you this weekend .

Well, looks like saturday is going to be cooler and possible rain, going from about 80 on friday to mid 60s. Lows in the 50s and high 40s.
