Here are The Big Zero's stated ambitions after leaving office, given in an interview.

"With respect to my priorities when I leave, it is to build that next generation of leadership: organizers, journalists, politicians.

I see them in America, I see them around the world, 20-year olds, 30-year olds who are just full of talent, full of idealism.

And the question is: how do we link them up? How do we give them tools for them to bring about progressive change?"

He doesn't get it, that his legacy is one of failure and repudiation, and few will want to be linked with it. He also does not recognize that those bright millennials have plans to take care of themselves and families, and do not want to be government drones. He also misses the fact that America already has a great process to enact change (called voting) that does not need anyone to waste their life "organizing." Does he really think America sees journalists as leaders???

His narcissism is blinding!

So he is admitting the press is mostly just a propaganda arm of the democrat party.
The press is not in any way nor is it meant to be part of the leadership of the country.
That little Freudian slip is just revealing what many have known for a long time.

You're not reading it right.

He's saying that after 8 years of a deepening racial divide in America and race riots in cities across the nation...

He's going to make sure it gets worse.

The key word there was "progressive" which is just a coded, feel-good substitute for Socialist. It was invented by socialists to camouflage their real goals; they knew the word "socialist" was a red flag (pun intended) so they coined the term progressive because it sounds like a good idea. Progress is good, right?

Unless you are progressing rapidly towards oblivion.

I don't think you'll get much of a rise with that. We have plenty more closet libs here that think Bush was a bad POTUS.

You're not from around here, and I doubt you're old enough to know what a strong American economy looks like. Obama's economy sucks. The US economy today, does not even remotely resemble a strong economy. You must be stupid .

To his credit, Obama had some major accomplishments.

He single-handedly destroyed the Clinton Political Machine.

Under his watch, the Kennedy Dynasty went extinct.

He empowered Pelosi and Reid to enact rules that will hobble Democrat perfidy for the foreseeable future.

He alone destroyed what was seen as an invincible Democrat Party. In just eight years, the Democrats went from a surging majority to an impotent minority.

He is responsible for the resurgence of conservatism in America. He brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan.

He's the one who showed the country what liberals and progressives really are, and why tax and spend is a disastrous course.

He sparked the greatest sale of guns and ammunition the country has seen, making the gun industry one of the few successful ones in the last decade.

It took him eight years, but Obama finally did bring about a feeling of hope and change - with his departure.

Not least of all, he eradicated Jimmy Carter's legacy as the worst President in history.

All in all, a pretty impressive list of accomplishments!

Anyone who blames Bush for the economic crash which happened early in Obama's watch needs to study their history a bit better.

Clinton inherited the strongest US economy of modern times, and was well on his way to totally screwing it up. Instead he propped it up by forcing American lenders to write loans which were bound to go delinquent. Thus was the housing bubble created. A bubble which could do nothing other than crash.

The mess Obama so mishandled in his quest to nationalize industry was a result of Clinton's screw ups, rather than Bush's.
