Read your Chicago shooting data. It looks like Chicago is a pretty safe place if you are "white/other" or "unknown", but not so safe if you are "black" or "hispanic".
2016 Chicago Homicide Victim sort:
Black = 619 out of 796 (78%)
Hispanic = 131 out of 796 (16%)
White/Other = 41 out of 796 (5%)
Unknown = 4 out of 796 (<1%)
So, if you're Black, you're 15.6 times more likely to be murdered in Chicago than if you're White/Other.
I wonder how these statistics compare to other major cities.
** NOTE ** In one table, the total homicides is listed as being 796, but in the table that shows the breakdown by race of the victims, the numbers add up to 795. Not a big difference, but it is there.

Can't tell. Not enough information. Interestingly though the DOJ has almost the same criticisms/findings/labels of the Department I work in. it is almost as though they are mass producing a certain brand of "reform". Major cities which are closely politically allied with that DOJ are lining up for review and reform. The majority of the findings and criticisms are pretty mild. "Lack of Training" and "outdated methods of data collection" are the most common complaints leveled. And of course, the police are racists. But we all knew that because Hollywood and liberals have been telling us for years.

My unstated point was that I wondered if an elite black family, the Obamas, would move back to the city that they came from, even though it is, statistically speaking, a dangerous place for black people because of black on black crime. If you think that an elitist Harvard grad like BHO is going to keep a low profile like most former POTUS, I think that you're mistaken. I think that BHO is going to be a outspoken proponent for his liberal agenda. Great minds like BHO just know that they have visions that the rest of us are too inferior to understand, so we need to be protected from ourselves.
