Thinking of buying a set of grips for a Ruger SBH and a Kframe. Any experience with Ahrends or Eagle?
Any other recommendations?

I like Kim's grips and they are AMERICAN made. Fit has always been fantastic.
You can also send him some wood and have them made from what you sent.
Grip Seller, or something like that on Ebay deals with Kim's grips. She has a decent selection and you can see the exact pair you will get.
I haven't paid any attention to see if he makes grips for SA's.

Eagle's Classic series for S&W's are very nice, they approximate the shape of Ropers and they look fantastic.
Ahrend's have been OEM for S&W's custom shop on various models, they feel great and look great.
I personally favor the shape of Ropers on K/L frames, but would take the Ahrend's on an N frame...but that's just me.

The Ahrends seem to get better reviews. More than a few negative comments on the Eagles? I do like the look of the smooth Classic grips though.
Ahrends Retro Targets or Smooth Tactical for a K frame?

Ordered a set of nice rosewood grips off ebay from a seller named : edritch1 out of North Carolina. I could not believe the fit and finish. Great set of grips for $60. Their email is: info gungripsupply.com Really nice looking grips, and they make grips for a lot of different manufacturers. I like the fact that they are made stateside.

Eagle Grips get two thumbs up from me. You may have to be patient. They don't always process orders like they should but they are good to work with overall.
I really like their "ultimate ivory" or WTF they call it.
Go magna style on that K frame.
