Anyone used the combo of CFE223 and a 150 gr bullet in 300 Savage? Hodgdon's reloading data don't list CFE223 in that cartridge.
QL suggests it's a pretty decent candidate.

It sure works well in my .308 with 150 Hornadys.
You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it. A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck. Liberals with guns are nothing but hypocrites.

300 Savage is one of those cartridges that Hodgdon hasn't updated with the new powders yet. Not that CFE223 is all that new. Took until 2016 for them to get 250=3000 and 257 Roberts updated to include CFE223 and Enduron powders.

QL suggests it's a pretty decent candidate. You could also look for data using Alliant PowerPro 2000-MR, it's the same powders as CFE223.

If it would work in the 300 Savage,it should work in a 308.

That really doesn't mean that they are the same powders, just that they have very similar burn rates & performance..........but it's possible. Same powders have been marketed under different names by different companies before.

It shoots well in my Rock River. Barrel easier to clean
