I wa going through some of my dads reloading stuff and found a reloading manual by Nick Harvey. Guess I never heard of him,seems like a pretty interesting guy,and the manual,seems pretty well written.

He's an older writer from Down Under. I don't know how much he's doing these days. Maybe someone from Oz can update on his present activities. I have his manual kicking around somewhere.

I have his manual, bought many years ago. It is good though clearly dated given the outpouring of powders these days. He reminds me of Finn a bit.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

He's still kicking around and writing heaps of tech articles for Aus Sporting Shooter. Gotta be well in his 70s and still killing game by the truckload.
He's an old style bloke. Knows his stuff but probably stuck in the 20th century somewhat.

He's an old style bloke. Knows his stuff but probably stuck in the 20th century somewhat. Actually, he'll be 86 this year (born 1931). He's been writing for a very long time.

Righto he's an even older fossil than I thought!
Had a pretty nasty chainsaw accident which messed his face up some years ago. Not that he was ever gonna win too many beauty contests!
(Which is pretty ripe coming from me who has a head like a Robber's Dog!)

He has published 9 editions of his Reloading Manual now and it was advertised as his last ever one. I generally use data out of his 4th or 5th edition as the data started getting watered down a bit in the later editions once NIOA got involved. I have the first edition pictured above, but the powders are generally unavailable here in Australia nowadays.
