I haven't kept up with this thread, but did anyone see The NY Times OP/ED piece claiming that President Trump's executive order violates the The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965?
just wait until you see their heads explode when they find out Trumps executive order didn't even mention the countries he was targeting. He was going solely buy the US immigration code added to "countries of concern" listed by the Obama administration.
have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings
Here's what all the looniness is about: All the folks behind it are the folks who hate our European, Western, Christian culture/civilization. They thought they were on the verge of ultimate victory in bringing it down once and for all, when Trump came along and put the kibosh on their efforts. They're now squealing like stuck pigs over it.
Given the US is taking Mooselimbs from Egypt, Saudi, and other Mooselimb countries, the Presidents actions were not to ban Mooselimbs, they were to ban folks from countries with shoddy vetting practices. And that is saying a lot given the 9/11 miscreants mainly came from Saud. Hope they up'd their game there....
To frame the question as the OP has is disingenuous if he was referring to Trump's actions.
But then again, that's the hallmark of Progressives.
The Constitution is for citizens of our nation. Not for the rest of the world.

Not exactly accurate. The Constitution applies to people within the US and territories/jurisdictions, whether citizens or not.
However, it sure as Hell does not apply to people outside those bounds. Immigration into the US is not a right; it is a privilege.

"Calls to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. are offensive and unconstitutional"
WTF is wrong with you?
There's a damned long list that would cover that question. Start with "disingenuous" and go from there.

It's not a Muzzie ban, it bans people from certain specified trouble spots where Islamic Jihad ferments and where terrorists are known to be.
It was about 20 countries short. No countries where jihadists that came here and killed Americans were on the list. Just plain keep them out, period. We have far more than we need and if we get any more the scales will begin to tip and they will become active in their murderous jihad. Open season is what we really need.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?
Immersing oneself in progressive lieberalism is no different than bathing in the sewage of Hell.

Does anyone remember if, in this thread and in a long post with several links, there was listed a law from the 30s indicating immigration from islamic states (with several countries named) was not to be allowed due to their religion being in direct contradiction to the rules of our constitution?
