Guy put a redpad on consignment at LGS, bought it new, said it's always pinged. Indeed it's rather noisy/rings out.
Can see where the block that swings by the receiver has dinged the bbl over the yrs.
Backed off the screw, lessened it only slightly, still annoying.
Have owned a couple, pops maybe a dozen..........never had one ring like a dinner bell.
So....is that block supposed to contact the bbl as a stop or is it missing a bevel?
