I can't remember where I saw the information online but apparently Savage is producing a newer rim-fire with a 10 shot rotary magazine. The rifle I saw was a nice wood stocked bolt action but I do not see this on the Savage website.
Did I imagine this or has anyone else seen this rifle?

I found something online-Shot show was where Savage announced the guns I am referencing. See below paragraph copied from an online article
"The B Series bolt-action rimfire lineup includes 12 configurations in 22 Long Rifle, 22 WMR and 17 HMR chamberings, plus Sporter, Heavy, Heavy Threaded and Heavy Stainless barrel options. All provide a natural fit, thanks to an ergonomic stock, elevated comb, target-style pistol grip and top tang safety. The AccuTrigger, a button-rifled barrel and 10-round rotary magazine are also standard."

Outdoorhub.com has a review on the new Savage B series rimfire rifle. I am getting that desire to acquire again. The B 22lr model with a Leupold 2/7 x 28mm rimfire scope would serve as a good squirrel rifle. I hope they hit the shelves soon, I already have first dibbs at my local gun shop

If I wanted a rotary magazined rimfire rifle, it would be a Ruger American, NOT a Savage B Mag of any chambering.
In fact, I did by an RAR Predator last weekend, it's a sweet little piece that shoots very well, scary well, in fact.
The B Mag is crap.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

I like the model 77 Ruger in 22 mag but don't care for the newer model.
The Savage 22 I am interested is not out yet apparently. I own a Savage 110 in 270-most accurate gun I've owned. Bought in used in the 80's and it is very accurate.
I'll be on the lookout for other nice wood stocked 22s in 22 mag and lr
