Corrupt Florida Democrat Corrine Brown is in deep trouble. She ran a fake charity which directed money away from kids and if convicted on all counts she’s going away for a long time. She also palled around with lots of other big name Democrats. The Washington Examiner reports: Indicted Democrat partied with Pelosi, flew with Obama, and campaigned for Clinton She partied with Nancy Pelosi, traveled on Air Force one next to President Obama, and cast her superdelegate vote for Hillary Clinton. But today Corrine Brown is in federal court for stealing scholarship money from school children. The disgraced congresswoman must defend against charges that she funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars from a non-profit charity, One Door for Education, into her own pocket. If convicted on all 24 counts, she faces 357 years in prison and $4.8 million in fines. With her former chief of staff expected to testify against her, the question’s no longer whether or not she’s guilty. It’s why Democrat brass would continually cozy up to a congresswoman who was so clearly corrupt? From the beginning, Brown’s been shrouded in controversy. Shortly after she won election in 1992, the Federal Election Commission accused Brown of violating numerous campaign finance laws. Most notably, she accepted donations from foreign citizens and failed to report the use of a corporate plane. She was brought down by Obama to clear the way for Al Lawson. There was redistricting and her custom district was redrawn due to a Florida constitutional amendment that requires compact districts. This was a democrat supported amendment and put her in the same space as Al Lawson. She started filing lawsuits and the next thing you know she's under indictment and out of the race. She's always been corrupt but she was tolerated by both democrats and republicans because she was just that , corrupt. She was a useful idiot...until she wasn't.

It's news here in Jacksonville. Her Chief Of Staff pleaded guilty to lesser charges and turned on her. They've been dragging this for quite sometime now, my guess is eventually she will feign some kind of illness and get away with it.
