Spotted these as singles early this morn. Watched at distance for quite a while til they settled down and grouped together.. Walked in andshot one in the bed on a terrace. Went over the hill to last known location and shot one in terrace rolled up in grass. The third one came over the terrace below me and shot him. 200,250,150 Yds. Three shots, they never knew I was there. Doesn't workout like this too often. Have done doubles many times but not three at once too often. My preferred way to hunt, on foot!

Very well done...........a great stand by anyone's standards.

Foogle: Great job! I have never heard of anybody successfully "still Hunting" a three pack Coyotes. Good for you. A few years ago I was Hunting Canada Geese on a cattle ranch near Kidd, Montana - the ranch owner had asked us to shoot some of the Coyotes that had infested his place so one day I brought along my 223 Varminter. We limited out on Geese and it took us quite a while to put our gear and decoys away once done with that we drove off in two different vehicles. About a half mile from our Goose area I spied two Coyotes coming down the field towards me. I hopped out of the VarmintMobile got in an irrigation canal (dry) and headed towards them. I was camoed up real well and soon was in Rifle range. I shot the first Coyote at 250 yards and the second ran off at light speed. But soon it realized it did not know where the danger had come from and began a big circle around its fallen companion. When it got to about 200 yards of me and was loping along broadside I shot and killed it. That is the closest I have ever come to attaining a still Hunting feat like you did. Again good for you. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I kind of chuckle at your "still hunting" reference. Often times the still hunting involves several miles of tracking. 4to5 miles is not uncommon with 8 miles one time last year.
