I was just going through my rifle with the bore s open and found a "pocket" it doesn't look like a chip hung when drilling....it's random in shape with fairly squared edges. It shows in about 70* in the same length down the tube.

Ever see it?

Sounds like something was up when it was cut. Call Brux and send it back. Cut or buttoned they all have s*** happen.

I'm sad. It shoots well clean, but it was falling off pretty quickly. I think I know why now.

I had to send 1 back. I`d clean the piss out of it and still get a black stripe on my patch just in 1 area on it. The chronograph would shoot 150 fps low till shot 8 or 9 then it would come back. I sent it back, and they said they hired a new guy who was not using the lapping rod correctly and wearing a groove in the barrel. It was replaced with no excuses. Great people.

Which manufacturer will be the first to supply each barrel blank with its own final inspection borescope DVD?

The one that adds $35-$50 to the final price to provide that service. Doesn't do you much good. You already own the barrel.

My comment was tongue in cheek.

There would probably be talk of bogus videos going out. Somebody would supply a 5R barrel with a conventional four groove video and the cat is out of the bag.

Contact Brux. As others have said, they are great to work with and will make it right if their problem.
