Three successive snow storms passed over Arizona, so time was taken last weekend between storms #2 and #3 to catch what were predicted to be colorful sunrises and sunsets at the Grand Canyon. Right as a snow storm is clearing is the best time to see the canyon, in my opinion.

Love the B&W.

The only time I've visited the GC was in winter, it had just received a 12" dump. I'm of the opinion snow helps to give a greater sense of the size of the canyon by defining the upper rim, providing more contrast.
