Unfortunately, I never had the privilege of meeting Dennis in person. But we collaborated remotely in creating the 404 Ruger. Although not at the same time, we also got to walk the same ground in Mozambique after Cape buffalo.

Greatly saddened am I as I was directed to this thread. Dennis was a very kind soul and he an I had much in common. I met him when I first joined the 24 hcf in 2003, I think. For many years, we communicated regularly. We discussed handloading and ballistics many times. Not to mention our favorite chamberings. I believe Dennis was the 1st and only member of the 24hcf to visit my gun room. A kindred Spirit; I shall miss him greatly... Godspeed, my brother...

Thanks for letting us know of Dennis' passing, I appreciate you doing so. Recently I was reading through some PM's we'd shared years ago and I wondered how he was doing - now I know.
Please pass along condolences to any friends and family, my thoughts and prayers are with them now.
