Interesting week. Bought a RAR last Saturday from a dealer nib. Brought it home and found the barrel was crooked in the receiver far enough that with a straight edge the barrel was over an inch out of line with receiver. Took back last night and got a new one from the dealer. New one is a shooter averaging about 1/2 at 50yards with Anguila match. One of the smoothest feeding bolt 22 in years that I have had

Its a shame Ruger let that first rifle out the door..but it happens.
Glad you got it sorted out and good on tge dealer for making it right.

I picked up a full size 22 LR American last fall and have been shhoting it along side a final run CZ 452 American.

The Ruger holds its own against the CZ in terms of accuracy with most loads. Its a sub 1" gun at 50yards with pretty much anything and will do half inch with good imported target ammo.

Here's a 100 yard group with a $25 Buahnell 4x ..[Linked Image]
