I thought I would share some of my favorite hunts from this past season. Many of the deer harvested this year were deer that I have watched for several years. We had exceptional rainfall during the Spring and Summer months which really helped with antler growth. Our low fence hunts yielded a higher average on score due to the excellent ranch conditions. We took several deer over 200" and many in the 160-200" class. We have begun to prepare for this coming years whitetail hunts and look forward to more big deer hit the ground! Do you ever kill any down there or just harvest them.. We kill them but to be politically correct most people prefer the term "harvest"

did any of them die without corn in there mouth? I'm not sure what they had in their mouth when they were shot but I can tell you we feed approx 6 tons of corn a week on the roads November- February. It's pretty fun to watch 20-60 deer a sit. That's really the only way to attract them out of the south Tx brush.
