Got my eye on another shiny object so selling my custom Rem Seven 6.5x250AI that I bought here on the ‘fire back in the fall. The rifle description from post #11423639 is as follows: “Rifle is a stainless non J lock model 7 with a 20" stainless #3 contour Lilja barrel, Tubbs recoil lug, action squared, trigger tuned and lugs lapped. McMillan Model 7 stock with 13.5" LOP. 8 twist barrel. Chambered in 6.5x250 AI which is also know as the .260 Bobcat and is virtually identical to the 6.5 Creedmor. 120 grain bullets get 2900 fps and 95/100 grain bullets get 3000 fps with very good accuracy. I shot it about 125 times to form Lapua 22-250 brass and start load development. It had not been shot much by original owner since he had multiple rifles like this.” The stock has pillars and also a very well done bedding job. Additional pics of bugholes are in posts # 5858767 and # 5858795 The package price is $1000 shipped for the rifle, Redding 2-die set, 100 fire-formed Lapua 22-250 cases, 20 fire-formed Hornady 6.5 Creed cases.Brass can be necked up and fire-formed from 22-250, or, I just ran Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor brass through the sizer die and then trimmed slightly. The Lapua 22-250 is excellent but eventually needs neck-turned for donuts. In the pic below the case on the left is unfired 6.5 Creedmoor, the case on the right is one that was resized and fired through the 6.5x250AI. You can use 6.5 Creed for load data and work up. This is the only 3 shots that I shot for a group, using Mull’s recipe of Varget with a Nosler 100 BT. I used the 6.5 Creed brass instead of the fire-formed Lapua 22-250. Now that Lapua is coming out with 6.5 Creed brass I think I would try that going forward.

The stock has one little chip in the paint just to the side of the front action screw area as pictured here. Overall it's in great condition.

I've wanted to replace my old M7 I built with a 20" in 7BR, .700 muzzle. Wonder if this shank has enough to set back to 6.5BR........

When people face the possibility of freezing or starving there is little chance they are going to listen to unfounded claims of climate doomsday from a bunch of ultra-rich yacht sailing private jet-setting carbon-spewing hypocrite elites
