Does anyone have a good way to put on, and remove boats quickly? I'm thinking of using two swivel bases, back to back, welding tubing on both. Using a 1/4 rod with clip pins to fasten when using the seats. Think a barn door hinge with removable pins.
I'm open to any ideas.

Many pedestal mounts are quick tach. I'm not sure I understand the mission.

I'm using clamp on seats on a 14' fishing boat. No pedestals or false floor in this boat. I want to keep the seats out of the weather when it's not being used. I have some slide on mounts, but they are not rated over five miles an hour. Plus, they don't work well.

Post some pics of the seats and the boat. I suppose you want them in Aluminum or Stainless. I might have something on hand.

I have no pictures, the boat bench seats are aluminum, and the clamp mounts have a built in swivel. Since I asked here, I see Bass Pro has a plastic two piece take apart unit for $15.
