I have been messing around with 120 TSXX and 48.5 grs of H4831SC. I found the Barnes bullets on sale for $33 a box so I bought 4 of them. What velocity?

I have not chrony this load. All I know is it shoots good and will be fast enough for coyotes.

was getting bored, so tried something different, new target/hunting load:
Rifle: Stock T3X CTR Brass: Lapua (minimal prep) Primer: CCI 200 Bullet: 130gr. Berger VLD Hunting Powder: 43.3gr. H4350 COAL: 2.910" Approx .4 MOA.
Still no chrony, so no velocity, ES...

47 grains of WW760 under a 95 grain V max has been good in my 700 Limited.
I read about accuracy issues with this bullet, but it shoots about .75 for three shots in my rifle.

147gr Hornady ELD-M, over a heavy load of Re19, has proven to be an extremely accurate combo in my .260. I get 2724 fps, from the 24-inch barrel and under 1/2 moa accuracy.

Working up some loads in a customer's Savage 12, 3-shots run 0.420" at 200 yds with 140 gr SSTs using 40.5 gr H4350 clocked at 2661 fps. 120 gr AMAXs with 43.0 gr H4350 grouped 0.380" @ 100 yds running 2860 fps. I ran a string of 10 shots using H4831sc from 42.1-45.7 gr and they all grouped in 1.120" @ 200 yds with the 140 SSTs, velocities ran 2487-2737 fps. Needless to say I'm impressed with the potential of the model 12 LRP, the gun is heavy and pleasurable to shoot.

I have worked up to 46.5 grs of Reloder 26 with a 147Gr Hor. ELD-M and it has been both fast and accurate in my gun. OAL length at lands is 2.95 and there is still alot of bullet in case . Have only killed a few pd's thus far but I am optimistic about results on antelope and deer.

I've shot the 142 LRAB with 44.o gr H4831sc (Nosler's accuracy powder and best wt. BTW) for sub-MOA out of my 1:8 twist Tikka. I've got 45.o gr loaded and ready for evaluation. The 143 ELD-X and 139 are more accurate in my early trials.

My current 260 Rem load is 46.5 grs of H4831 or H4831SC, and works really well with 140 Hybrids. Lapua brass and Wolf LR primers. Very accurate load in my rifle.

Anyone rocking the Nosler Long Range Accubonds with H4831SC? I used the 129 gr ABLR with H 4350, shot so well I never tried anything else. I've shot the 142 LRAB with 44.o gr H4831sc (Nosler's accuracy powder and best wt. BTW) for sub-MOA out of my 1:8 twist Tikka. I've got 45.o gr loaded and ready for evaluation. What kind of speeds are you getting? I have always had excellent accuracy with H 4831sc but they were always about 100 fps slower than what they should have been. Have had better luck with the 4350 burn rate powders.

I have loaded the 129gr with 46gr's of H4831SC and had good accuracy. The nosler data says they max out at 47.5, was hoping to hear someone that pushes them to the max.

Re 17 got me more velocity in my rifle with 129 Hornadys. IMR4350 was next down. H4350 was OK, but not as good as either of those two. Re19 is the ticket for 143ELD-M in my rifle, clocking 2724 fps.

49.o gr H-1000 (heavily compressed) + CCI-200 + Lapua 7-08 cases + 143 ELD-X in a Tikka T3 1:8 twist. Seated at max magazine length of 2.800" Will likely go sheep hunting next month.

MM I have not tried H1000 seems as though its worth a try. I note all the load data says 48 to 50gr. Can you actually fit 50 gr in a Lapua case? Have you checked velocity?
Faster or slower than H4831SC?
Good luck and shoot straight all

I was using H4831sc for starters, as it is Noslers listed accuracy powder with 140-142 gr bullets, I was getting great results with it but decided to try some H-1000 on a whim after seeing data for in on Hodgdon's site and having some one hand. H-1000 has done better during all my tests against 45.o and 45.5 gr of H-4831sc at 200 and 300 yds. It's 2-3 grains slower and, no, I have not run either over the chronograph yet. They should both do slightly over 2,700 fps by my reckoning.
