That's because you've never had one. All the ones I've had use soybean as the extender. They are good as [bleep].

As much as I dislike shopping there, Wallyworld has canned boiled peanuts on their website. I've had a few cans of them and while not as good as fresh, for someone who just wants to try them it's an option.

This will also be a taste treat very soon. I'll do another batch before the weekend. There's just something about boiled peanuts and the first weekend of college ball.

Plus Interesting road kill

I would try a slug burger.

I can make a pork chop sandwich cheaper......probably.

Thats a real nice simple pleasure.

Pork loin cut about an inch thick. Pounded to a half inch.

Seasoned, breaded and fried in a iron pan with peanut (not boiled) oil.

Slice of raw, mayo and cheese on mine.

Hard to beat it.

Another simple pleasure is buying a new ring of red. About a pound of old style bologna.

The slug burgers here cost 99 cents, with tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle and mustard on a bun.

Louisiana is where it's really at. I defy anyone to live there and not put on 10 pounds.

Hmmm......99 cent slug burger. Thats pretty cheap. I suppose I would have to work pretty hard to beat that. A good pork chop sandwich is just that......good.

I have a friend in Alexandria LA. I keep threatening to visit sometime. Not that I need to gain 10 pounds though.

A real Louisiana crawfish boil is on my bucket list.

White clay or white dirt.....I'd see it in middle GA over to Alabama in roadside stands or country stores.
