Grandma and Grandpa had one in the farmhouse. I have one like this i inherited from my "other" Grandpa. Mine is only a fragile paper print. But there were several variations. All by an artist named Kolwalski. He painted other themes too. Many hunting related in Eastern Europe and also pretty cool! I remember as a young lad just staring at the one in the old farmhouse at night. Thinking how cold it looked. Kinda reminded me Of the snow here tonight. My old copy hangs with all my other stuff ( yes including obligatory "Dogs Playing Poker" print), in my bed room.

The other one I remember was a guy in a desert setting watering his horse out of his hat.
Kinda like the old Stetson ad, Don?

Mine is of an old cafe next to the UP mainline. My dad would take me to the cafe for a bacon cheeseburger and an afternoon of train watching. If I recall, the painting was hung in the dining room right next to the kitchen? Anyway, thank you for posting!

K, Yep my grandma and grandpa had that picture in their house... I was probably only 5 or 6 years old and thought the picture was kind of cool but a little scary.
They also had a picture of a Lassie looking dog howling in a snow storm while standing guard over a lamb.

We have the cold but we are dry. I have a burn pile that needs reduced to ashes but I don't dare set it on fire. I'd be surprised if we have had 2" since August in central Iowa.
