I would be pizzed if I was the FISA judge. I would be hauling the responsible DOJ officials back into my court for some splaining. Someone would be looking at jail time for contempt. Contempt of Court would not be the charges. Perjury would be the charge. At the very least, Trump, and anyone else caught in the subsequent wiretaps and other communications are valid plaintiffs in a Bivens case that will be even more revealing of what went on. Bivens is SCOTUS case law that allows for suit for monetary damages against a Federal LEO for Constitutional Rights violation(s). Fed LEOs are exempt from the Section 1983 actions as State & Local LEOs are. Any Agent who even knew of the affidavit and that it contained false information is guilty of Misprison of a Felony, in and of itself a crime. Lots of dirty folks around that FISA application and "investigation". Let's see where this ball bounces next... Ed Oh, and Sedition, if we could find an AG with balls enough... From what you say and the memo revealing the top of the DOJ was aware, wouldnt that make Sessions guilty of the crime also, Ed?

If I were a FISA court judge, I'd haul the upper echelon FIBbers into court and have them all arrested for perjury. Every damned one of them, although.................
it seems to me that the FISA judge they went to, had to have been "in" on it, also. It should have been apparent to anyone that this whole thing stinks like a week-dead fish. Either in on it or incompetent. It would seem to me a competent judge would ask some questions about the sources and attempt to confirm the veracity of the report.
