What's the point of the 24 Nosler? Ballistics are not impressive.

Fotis: Wow that is a handsome and interesting looking "pistol"!
I am going to read up on those two Nosler calibers.
If I were a millionaire (and hope to be someday!) I would like to try my hand with one of them for Antelope Hunting.
And for the Remington XP-100 and T/C single shot pistol "naysayers" I say "nay" to them.
I have both a T/C pistol in 223 Remington (with Burris 3x9) and an early model Remington XP-100 in 223 Remington (with 10 power Burris scope) - the accuracy of both pistols I describe as simply amazing!
Both have SUPERB triggers and are so handy that I highly recommend them.
These pistols are just a barrel of convenient fun and easily concealable in vehicles when the rare need be.
One of my Mt. Goat Hunting partners bought a Remington XP-100 in caliber 7m/m Remington Bench Rest and immediately had it reamed out to 7m/m 08 Remington!
I was spotting over his shoulder when he killed a B/C Mt. Goat with it in SE Alaska!
The convenience and light weight of that "pistol" really endeared us to its size and format.
For those that wonder about a "pistol" in a Rifle type caliber I say give one a try - they have lots of attributes and few detriments.

You still can.

I find the Contender more "handy" than the XP or Savage Striker rigs.
But the bolt rigs are cool.
If I got one it'd be for varmints.
