i just bought a 2018 SIlverado High country 2500 duramax . sticker was for 73K with rebates and my GM discount i was OTD for 58k The high country is chevys highest package, basically their version of the denali. I love the truck, and the pulling power, as well as the mileage. to me its worth it, to others it may not be

I don't know about $100k. But, just yesterday I got a Ford Private offer for a $G, and they are giving another $G to Veterans. I had my dealer send me an invoice to replace my 3 year-old F150 Platinum with a '18, pretty much the same equipment and the MSRP is $68k. With rebates, and discounts, yada, yada, I'm at about $60k - that's about $7k more than I paid for my current truck, I think.

I mostly just tow a bass boat, and haul dead deer around.

Eh, I think I'll hold off and see what the '19s are going for.

I’ll post some reference pics in a minute.

I'll take a rental townhouse and a stripped down 2 year old truck.

I don’t know why I can’t get the skater pic to show in the thread. Just the link. I’m obviously missing something.

Yup, that’s it. Basically just showing what a custom F-650 is used for. There are races all over the country and if someone wants to get there this is how he does it.

Usually those trucks are seen bristling with .270's sticking out the rolled down windows shooting at the game warden's decoy deer a week before rifle season starts.

My most recent truck is a 12 year old F250 King Ranch, bullet-proofed, with 80k miles, for $17,500. It never had a hitch in the receiver. I like my heated leather seats.

I'm driving a 99 with 114,000 miles on it and it runs like a top. Unfortunately, it's getting pretty rusty. There is no way I can afford a $50,000 truck let alone one that is twice that amount. I just want a radio, power steering, power windows, air and power brakes. I don't want or need anything else. Those high prices and the demand are forcing prices up to the point us guys on retirement pay can't afford one.

I keep trucks as long as they run.....so trade in value tends to not matter much after 14-15 years
