For the 72nd year, The Nation's first and largest State bowhunting org is once again holding it annual broadhead shoot at Kennedy Park, just north of New Lisbon, WI.

Once again,I will be running the 50/50 novelty shoot.

If you happen to find yourself in the birthplace of the archery deer season, bring your bow and arrow and broadheads and spend the weekend with a great bunch of elitists (bowhunters).

All legal Wisconsin bowhunting weapons allowed and welcome.

Hope no one shows up and tries to site in or test their xbow. Good way to ruin targets.

No, this is for bowhunters only so you wont see any crossbowers at this event. Only legal weapons allowed for bowhunting are allowed at the Broadhead shoot. 72 years in a row and always, only bowhunting gear has been used and nothing is changing about that. If the crossbowers want to form an organization and hold a broadhead shoot, Im sure they can find a place that will host them.


For a very brief moment in Time, WI had a WI crossbow federation but it folded like a cheap card table after 2 years. Nobody joined and the two shoots they held were only attend by the club officers so they threw in the towel.

Over the weekend I made the 50/50 money shoot novelty target (broadhead target). One participant will win half the pot and another will win this broadhead target at the end of the event.

Day 2 complete. Bowhunters are great people and the best deer hunters on the planet.
