He is shooting to stay within existing conditions.
I shoot NBRSA, and though it is not exactly the same as Pennsylvania there are many commonalities. IIRC, all of our 1000 yd BR grew out of the Pennsylvania club.
NBRSA gives you 3 minutes for sighters during the sighter period followed immediately by 10 minutes to shoot your group for record. We usually get through five shots within a minute and 10 within two in an often effort (often a vain effort) to keep that group all in the same conditions.

We have 6 min for sighters an 15 min for record 10 shots in light gun's and 10 minutes for the 10 records in heavy...The heavy gun I was shooting at the beginning was a 300wsm built on an old Mauser 98...Not the fastest action in the world.I have been timed in the upper 30sec range with that gun when it desided to track well...And my fingers work right getting the rounds in the gun...Took me to about the 5th shot to get things working right:)...Shot my first Right left gun in match 10 in heavy gun last year. They clocked me at 31sec...Not bad for the first time....Won the relay for score with a 6.7 inch 99 score.Jena got a 105% on the presention. She got the extra 5 points for showing the teacher something she had never seen before. She was also the only one in the class to get a 100

I can't to see your reaction after you get your RBLP. They ROCK in terms of speed and smoothness..........

Boyd, Thanks for sharing. She should have received about five more bonus points from the teacher.
Just because I am wandering around doesn't mean I am lost.

Really enjoyed the video. It was a first for me also. I would love to give that a try just once.

Am hoping I can learn something from the videos, which will not be hard for me to do as I am new to the BR game. I don't know if I will ever compete at the BR game as it is not shot anywhere close to me but hoping to use some stuff I will pick up to shoot varmint hunter matches. Thanks Boyd
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I have friends who go to the Missouri Shoot. If I can get out and punch some holes and get a game plan going, one day I`d like to go too.
