Did see a really great condition post 64 top eject 94 with new mismatched black walnut Boyd's buttstock.
Really great condition all around except the original forearm and buttstock mismatch
Contemplated looking for factory buttstock
Needed a sight elevator.
Dude wanted 380
Went for it after several hours
My target was 280 - 300
He came down to 340
I had ta walk , no hard feeling, already got a 94 anyways.
Constantly hearing stungun demo,s... gawd...
Got muzzle flashed at least 3 times from mofo,s doing the one hand slung over the shoulder thing.
Be looking at something, turn around and bam ya got a muzzle pointing at your head 4 inches away. mofo, be looking at something bent over beside ya and flash the fugg outta ya. Not all of em, way more guys carrying muzzle down thankfully....
Even though they clear and zip tie your action at the door making a gun " safe" it is still fugged up getting muzzle flashed.
I said to dude at entrance door why dont ya all put up a sign "carry guns muzzle down", had a brief talk with him. Dude looked at me like I was nuts.

One guy had butchered savage 99 in 30-30 with a awesome side mount 4 machine screwed left side receiver scope mount and awesome bushnell sportveiw 3-9x40 scope on it for 800...... wtf......

Started showing him and his dad and brother pics of guns on my phone.
Dad wanted ta buy my mauser when I showed him a bunch of pics and talking about it.

Dad did some horse trading with that 7600 , seen him walking around with a 7mm mag savage weather warrior later on.
Asked him how he pulled it off, said 7600 and 150 dollars.
Dammm..... he definately upgraded.
Kid said he was looking at that 30-30 I was looking at.
I told him ya better jump on it , that rifle is in really great shape minus the mismatched wood shading and missing a 8 dollar ramp this was bout an hour before I tried on it for 280- 300.

This WPN is cherry.... front and rear trunnions solid. Rivets solid and no receiver dimples
Sights and barrel and receiver all inline and not canted. No fugged up eroded throat. No mushroomed bolt, no peened over bolt carrier tail.
Fugging hardly any moving surface wear. 2 75 rd drums in his truck and a 40 rd mag.

I'm like I might take a royal ass reaming from the wife,but I NEED this weapon....

Breaking down that weapon and examining it in depth

You guys have all those people selling Chinese, junk Damascus knives up there. I saw two or three tables selling the stuff last time I went. Pain relieving creams, candles, kitchen ware. More like a flea market here.

I hear those Osprey scopes are Clear Rugged Precise

ft Carson MWR range, nice range but it's open to every swinging dick in Colorado Springs. Reason why the entrance is before the gate to Carson. Anyhow I was there, and bench next to me some guys there shoot8ng AR's with one of them Osprey scopes they just bought at the gunshow. Guy is shooting fiddling with it. Then I see him bend over pick something up looks at his bud, says well I'm done shooting. His bud goes why and that's when he held the glass from the scope up said it just fell out lol.. they packed up left hot footing it back to gunshow hoping guy would swap it out with another one.

Gun show around here least has two semi hot chicks working the Osprey tables.

I used ta shoot at that range south side of post down by the widefeild gate, little ways from the dirt bike track.
Had a .308 model 100 winchester.
Used ta have a YZ 250 I rode on the track
I launched that bike so fugging hard one day
Landed and bottomed out my shocks really bad, bent my rim a little and drove 2 or 3 spokes thru my tube and tire.
That was a expensive fix
Used ta ride rampart range road all the time up behind the AF academy.

They had a oompa loompa insted at ours....

The MWR range is right next to bayonet course that hasn't been used in 20 years lol. So probably same area you shot at .They want to build a state of the art trap range where the bayonet course is at...

Wound up in 2/7th cav 4 duece mortar platoon acting as a 11c dropping illum rounds for tank gunnery and HE for calfaxes for 13 months.
Learned alot about mortar systems, that payed big dividends for me and my boys in schit hole conflicts thruout my career.

I got sucked up by the Osprey several years ago. A 1-4 I put on an AR. It actually seems to work as described. I paid way too much for it but it does seem to work well. A Jekyll Hyde kind of thing.

I don't believe Bill Goodman has a show in Nashville anymore. I find the shows in Cave City, Kentucky and in Sparta, Tennessee to be the best around here. Both may be a bit of a drive for you, however.
