They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Congratulations, that's the kind of blood I like to see on the ground. Those Bear broad heads have served me well for a lot of years. I'm still using them with my x-bow.

Dan I know, but I’m weak. I guess Ohio is going to my money early this year. LOL. One I was hoping to get in gun got wacked by a car last night. PM me your cell and I’ll send you a picture.

Awesome! I’ve been hunting a 70’s production Bear Grizzly this year. 50 28 slinging some old Magnus broadheads on wood colored carbons. Had 8 bucks at once at about 35 yards the other day with no shots.

Nice. Used to use the old tan color bear heads. But realized they were so soft they would curl on hard impacts. Moved over to Zwickey at that point.
Though I have a few hill heads I would like to try for the heck of it.
Congrats again!
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

That's a good lookin' recurve. Congrats on a fine buck, the old fashioned way!!

CONGRATS on the traditional bow kill with cedar arrows ,i kinda mis those old days ! i used Zwickey broadheads in those old days ,then i went to mechanical broadheads for 10 years i was not happy with any of these new expensive broadheads, so now i went back to using those old Zwickey broadheads again and these heads still draw plenty blood !

It was hit in front of a friends house down the road. And no - I never saw him or got any pictures of him that I know of. Still, I hate to see them like this.
