and while lifting it into position to strap on, felt a sharp "pop" in my elbow.
Hurts to lift arm half way.
Getting tender.
Guess this is the "tennis elbow" ?
I hunt w recurve too. Gonna be a tough morning tomorrow.
Need to take something I reckon...........what is best?

Ice and Aleve. If you felt a pop you may have really screwed yourself as that signifies a ligament and potentially pulling off a piece of the condile head. I nursed the same for years before getting my entire elbow rebuilt.

Its sore but a bit better. Can lift halfway up now. Swollen. The ol lady is yelling at me to go to doc and to get a lighter draw recurve or go compound. Can still hold and shoot a few at 54# but i need to think out front on tje target......not back where my elbow is screaming.
Shot rifle from bench today. Hurt. Cant carry very well. Got a decent sling. Baby it for a week
