My son is looking at a new in box Mathews Classic for $250. It was originally won at a Banquet. Any opinions or experience with this bow? I shoot a PSE Vengeance.

TIA

I shoot a MQ-1 and even though there's alot nicer bows out now (mine doesn't even have internal vibration-dampeners eek wink ), they did well-enough that I just can't upgrade. That sucks for a latest-and-greatest guy like myself. If I do buy another bow someday, I'd better not get another Mathews... whistle

That is a pretty good deal. I am saving my pennies for that same bow. If your son doesnt want it, and the seller doesnt mind shipping, I'll take it.

TomM,

I'll let you know, but I'm thinking my son is not going to take it. He has had some shoulder problems, and thinks that a 50-60# draw will be better for him. The guy that owns it was talking about putting it on ebay if we didn't take it. I'll tell him that you are interested, and figure a way to get you two together.

Thanks for the reply
Dave

Simular to the Featherlite it is my favorite compound. (And I have the latest, greatest Matthews now...can't remeber what it;s called.) It doesn't shoot near as well for me as my Classic.

Just make sure it fits. Most Mathews bows have no draw length adjustment. It will cost you $100 to change cams.

Very true! Go to a pro shop if you are not thoroughly familiar with bow stuff! It's well worth a few bucks more.
