It's time, I need shocks for my 99 F-350 diesel crew cab. I haul my 10-1/2 foot camper 4-6 times a year. What would you suggest? I'd like to go with something a little stouter than the factory stuff. Seems like I heard some good things about some "Magnums" but also that someone else makes the same for less money. Thanks

I replaced the HD shocks on my SD F-250 4x4 with KYB MonoMax shocks. The KYBs have performed VERY well. The ride has firmed up quite a bit and the truck just handles better. I destroyed a set of "HD" aftermarket shocks in a couple of months a few winters ago. The weight of the snowplow pounding up and down on the front shocks caused them to puke all of the oil out. The KYBs have held up with zero problems to date. MI VHNTR
