I went into a local shop today and found what I think is a 1985 700 Classic 350 Rem Mag. Looks unfired! No box, or paperwork. The Jewelling on the bolt looks unphased and the bolt face looks new. I'll post a couple of pix below. Let me know what you think. I just want to verify what it is. I've never run across one in 350 before. Serial number is B671xxxx. Pretty sure it's a 22 inch barrel. Forgot to measure it before they put it in the back for me. Any help is appreciated

I have one, and that looks like it. How much are they asking, if I may ask!

Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

Anyone know where I could get some brass? New, or once fired would work. I have a set of dies coming.

Looks like the one I have. The .350 classic is one of the chamberings that came with iron sights. A 22 in barrel and thicker "magnum" recoil pad are also correct. Can check serial number on mine when I get home if you'd like, but have never checked to see if there was a specific sn range for the classics.

The 350 seems to be a premium caliber in the classic. It looks to be a good deal from what I can tell from GunBroker.

I like mine which I bought new The 200 grain Hornady spitzer at an easy 2600 fps does a number on deer. The 225 Sierra and 225 Partition do too.

I love mine. I took the irons off, put in some filler screws, added a timney trigger, and bedded it into a take off remington titanium stock. It’s an awesome lightweight thumper, I use it for my bear rifle. I’m getting just shy of 2700fps with the 225gr Nosler partition.

Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.

The shop I bought my Whelen Classic in had a 350 Rem Classic. I bought the Whelen instead just because of more available brass.

I think I would buy it, I have a 99 in 358. It’s fun to shoot.

Looks like a 700 Classic, but mine in 270, along with all the others I've seen, did not have open sights. Could be they just put them on certain chamberings.

That's really a fantastic rifle! I had one, a Model 70 with a 24" Shilen barrel. Eventually sold it to a guy here at the campfire.

in the pics. it has scope bases. so I am betting it has been shot. not to worry it should be G R E A T ! my 350 is in a 600 rem. loud little sucker, lots of flash on the front end as well. the extra few inches will help that. jump before it is gone.

It might have been, but it's certainly hard to tell. I have money down on it. Should be able to pick it up in a week, or two.
