I have a Remlin 1895 sbl that has the barrel "droop". I have had it back to the factory twice. They say they keep indexing the sights. The last time they recrowned the muzzle also and put another rail and sight on. By the gunsmiths calculation, the barrel is out of parallel with receiver 20 minutes of angle at 100 yards. I ran out of adjustment with my Leupold compact 3x9 at 100 yards. I needed approximately 8 more inches of elevation and the scope bottomed out. Anyone else have that problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rob

The only fix is a new receiver. Anything else including sights , bases and scopes are a band aid fix at best if they work at all

Can you put shims under the base/rings?
I've used AutoCad to help figure the angle and required shim thickness before, in case you have access to it.

Don't ask me about my military service or heroic acts...most of it is untrue.

why not try burris signature rings to zero your scope before you use the scope adjustments?
