I use a 30 watt soldering iron and replace the tip with a piece of threaded rod that screws into the insert. 10-32 I think. After its heated up I unscrew the arrow from the soldering gun and thread it onto a field point locked in a vice and pull it out. Some are tougher than others but I haven’t ruined one yet.

I can say that I have taken more than 100 whitetails using 100gr standard 1" or 1 1/8" magnum SlickTricks using both vertical and TenPoint crossbows.
No matter what head you use it's all about location, location, location..

They are all I have ever used. Have 4 B&Y bucks along with some smaller ones and a cow elk with them. They work magnificently.

QAD Exodus 100gr fly great and deer don't go far at all, usually less then 30 yards.

i have seen some left & right flite def. in the same wt. 100gr. broadhead from dif. brands of blades . just make shore yours shoot the same as your field tips
