OP jimy Campfire Outfitter J Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 8,490 South Peyton Place, USA	After untold tries and with no success, I will be like most guys posting here that can't post pictures, I have to ask , How do you post a picture ? I have tried "Ricks" easy to post thread , with the same results, "image is to large" , not a f~cking hint on how to make it smaller ! F~cking useless ! Do you use a hosting site like "photobucket" or the likes ? if so which one ? If it takes more than three paragraphs and an oriental grandkid to post a picture, I am not interested, simple is what I'm looking for. If there was an enterprising young man on this site, he could make more than better money just posting pictures for guys with stuff for sale ! Thanks for the help. Writing here is Prohibited by the authorities.

Just click and hold on the reply box where you want the pic to show Either paste or clipboard option will come up. Click on your link from that. It should show the link in reply box. Hit post reply. Ymmv based on your operating system. My system allows it from my clipboard. Also helps to delete your clipboard before posting the reply. Sometimes you can have Alot of stuff on it. But the newest item on your clipboard is always the upper left most one anyways. Last edited by renegade50; 10/21/20.

I think if you remove the first [img] and everything after the png[upload[img] [img][img]https://i.postimg.cc/DZRxfHw5/th-Buckpicturechucks17-NOV07012.jpg[/img]png upload[/img] the pic you posted should show up.

Then it changed from 8 mb for size of pic to 2 mb And I had to crop and resize my pics to work for his system. Dropped his stuff like a bag of dead kittens. Played around with postimages for about an hour got it down. Imgur is probably just as easy or easier. You just gotta practice to get it down and it becomes 2nd nature.

Might be different with others. Download pictures to the computer "photo" section. Drag and drop the ones to post (or just put in Imgur for future use) to desktop ( The original stays in computer "photos" and you can move the desktop ones to trash after they are Imgur without losing them from either Imgur or computer photos. Cleans up the desktop.) Go to Imgur Hit "New Post"?? on top left Drag and drop image from desktop, or, if several : Hit browse, highlight the ones (codes) you want to upload to Imgur, hit select. wait for them to upload. It can take awhile. Once uploaded go back into Imgur and find your pics on "Images" or My Images", (On my computer I have a green "S" on top right, which brings down this menu.) highlight/copy one you want to post, hit "boards and forums" tab Go back to your forum thread, put cursor where you want it, hit "paste". If there is a way to do more than one at a time, I have not figured it out yet.... I get the code on my in-progress post, but the pic WILL appear on the forum thread once the post is uploaded to the thread. Works much the same on photobucket, last I tried, some time ago..
