Nick, I've only seen one and that was number of years ago - I actually had a chance to buy it and asked "What the heck is a Whelen" Others might chime in but no don't think they made a bunch of them.

I think I've only seen one, and I prowl a lot. Gotta be a rare one for sure.

Hell, I've only ever seen one .35 whelen in a Classic model in my lifetime! Sounds like a good rifle

Maybe I'm wrong I thought all KS models came from the Custom Shop and are ordered to specs they weren't built for stock. Mb

I’ve seen a few, but they are not common. I own a few KS. The best rifle ever produced by Remington.

Yes, a Custom Shop item. The barrel contour is perfect, and stocks were Brown and McMiillan.

And where is this gun located? It might help us determine the value. The name of the shop will help to.

As already mentioned, the KS came through the custom shop, I would think it could be ordered in whatever chambering Remington had in their catalog. I bet the 35 Whelen is exceedingly rare though.

Haven't seen 'em too often.
PM me for my experience with one.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

Too bad Remington twist out the Whelen so slow that it's pretty much useless for shooting heavier bullets. Which is what its original purpose was for.

I've seen one in action once. Still have it but it doesn't get a lot of use. It slings the 250's just fine with the less-than-desirable twist. The 225's buck a little less in the lightish rifle so I prefer that route. I believe it was only offered in blued/parkerized.

That's what I imagine as a proper use for a 35.

That is a great pic!
