American Rifleman July 1942

I've been an NRA member since the mid 1960s so I have read a few articles in the American Rifleman Magazine. I also collect older A.R. magazines for the Deja vu experience of days gone by. Articles about Camp Perry, new Model 54 and 70 rifles; Parker, L.C Smith, Model 21 and Ithaca shotguns at ridiculously low prices! Whelen, O'Conner and Keith. They reminded me of a simpler time when we didn't have the problems we have today with our government's shenanigans threatening our accepted God-given Constitutionally guaranteed rights. That is until the other day when I was perusing the July 1942 American Rifleman.

I had expected to see articles about the Nazi, Japanese and Italian threat to our Democracy and to freedom and liberty around the globe. What I didn't expect to find was the following editorial article that should chill us all to the bone!
