My father worked his whole life. He quit school in the 8th grade to raise his brothers and sisters during the depression. Worked in the shipyards during the wars and was in construction as a welder until he retired.

While growing up I can remember him working two and sometimes three jobs at once to make sure his family had a roof over their head, food and clothes. When he retired, he had a nest egg of $200,000 that he had struggled to save to supplement my mother’s and his monthly Social Security check. Because of his little next egg, he could not receive any extra help form the government.

Later in life he suffered from emphysema and arthritis. At one point he was in such pain from arthritis he broke down to go to a pain center. While sitting in the waiting room the administrator said, he would have to pay $506 out of pocket as neither his Medicare or his supplement would not cover it before the doctor could see him. He wrote the check and continued to wait for the doctor. Meanwhile a woman who recently arrived to our state from Somalia wearing her native clothing and headdress and could not speak English. She passed the nurse Medicare card and got her treatment free. This is just wrong.

I am sure other members have seen the same or similar incidences where you just cringe when you see this sort of free giveaways. I think with the way the liberals are now it is only going to get worse. God bless my father who recently passed..

Correct. Taxpayers should not pay for immigrants either.

The rulers behind our government want non-Whites from the Third World to get every advantage possible in the US (to include super easy terms for business loans unavailable to Americans who were born here), and to flood into our nation in as large numbers as possible.

A friend took his elderly mother that worked everyday of her life, to the county nurse to get a flu shot. Was told she didn't qualify as she owned too much to get anything free. This women worked on a ranch for decades and was the only one of the crew that walked the 35 miles twice a year to herd the sheep. After most retired, she became a maid for wealthy people. Now because she worked hard she gets no consideration. Her 300 pound son had taken her to the county nurse and watched illegal immigrants were getting their free shots. My friend proceeded to climb upon the desk of the administrator and jumped up and down with anger till he broke the desk. Mom got her shot.

Good. This is the [bleep] that needs to happen. We need to fight back. More than them!

The whole welfare thing is not right.................take form those who've worked & give it to those that won't.

I just wonder how it will work when no one will work anymore.
