Assuming someone placed a custom order for an 1886 sometime around 1910...if they had requested their name or initials on the rifle:
1) where would this likely be located?
2) approx what sizes and what font?
3) would it have been stamped or inscribed?

Any pics of originals would be awesome. Thanks!!

Certain there were other options, but have seen owners initials hand engraved both on the left side of the receiver and on monogram plates at various locations in the butt stock.
