Hey any of you guys use this combination.

I'm thinking about getting a Campchief grill with the barbaque box so I can cook steaks up in the rockies.

I have one and use it on my CampChef Explorer stove when fire restrictions are on. I prefer a good old fashioned charcoal grill, BUT that being said these work fine. One thing you will want to do ( I learned the hard way) is make or buy a heat diffusing plate to cover the burners of the stove. Camp Chef sells them now for about $10 each, but they can be made easily. They will protect the bottom diffuser plate in the grill from warping due to hot spots. The first time I used mine it was cold and blustery out. We had to run the burner on high to cook on the grill box. The result was damage to the diffuser plate in the grill box.
