Hello all: Is the lead used for roof vent pipe flashing ok for B. casting?

It's OK for muzzleloaders. Unless you're paper patching for rifle or single shot pistols it's much too soft. Wheel weight material is fine for either pistol or rifle.-JDL

JDL hit the nail on the head. The lead from your roof is too soft as is, except for casting black powder, muzzleloading loads. My advice is to use wheel weights for rifle and pistol bullets.
