Just bought a Beretta 391 Target which came with two pads. I installed the less thick pad to shorten the length of pull, but the stock needs to come down another 1/4". Will the Beretta Gel-Tech pad be any thinner that the conventional pads and does it soak up any more recoil than a Kick-Ezz, or Declerator? Do you think it would shorten the L.O.P. by any significant amount or should I just take it in and have it cut off? I use the shotgun for a all-arounder. I have a O/U with a L.O.P.of 14" for skeet and it fits very well. Thanks, Jim

Maybe I"m wrong but it seems to me, IIRC, that the stock on that shotgun comes with a special tapered shim at the stock/receiver junction that allows the shooter to adjust the drop.. Just remove the stock, reverse the shim and reassemble..
