Was at cabelas today getting Santa photos with my old healers, wandered over and eyeballed a double Excalibur bow.

2 shot repeater. Any one own one? I want one! Seems to be a good deal but i ain’t that big a bull pup stock fan.

What say U?

Too heavy for me, and I haven’t had a second shot opportunity with a crossbow - ever.

We’ve shot one at the local shop - novel idea, not a necessity - IMHO.

I have had a lot of follow up shot deals.

Elk , and even western deer ain’t so skittish as eastern white tails. But even east I could use a second shot at times. IMHO

The single-shots are heavy enough for an old fat man that walks a mile to his hunting spot. They make one that’s a good bit lighter than my Matrix Bulldog, but I’m not investing in another to save a bit of weight.

Actually, I could’ve used a second shot this year as the doe I shot just stood there for a bit before lying down, plus about five others stood there before walking past me at about fifteen yards. No way can I hand-cock that thing in a treestand.

It’s sure easier than dragging two bows around.

I just prefer the AR 15 platform

Just Marketing. Everyone’s gotta have a gimmick, a schtick, something unique.

I want one of the crossbows with the hi-cap mags like the ones in “Van Helsing” and all the martial arts shows.

Multi-barrel bows aren't legal here in NJ.

I don't care about two shots but I would like a lighter, narrower crossbow. Unfortunately our stupid regulations call for a minimum width of 17 inches.
