Cleaning out my dad's shop, came across a 58", 45# recurve. No string and it appears in good physical condition. I'm wondering what the resale value is on this?

$200 would be the low end. Depends on condition. Post some pics and the serial number.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

While prices are up and tis the season, they are common bows.
Standard old Grizzly in brown glass, 58 or 56"....$200 would be tops IMHO
Sold a nice one 5 yrs ago for 135 and it took all summer. No stress lines either.
Ive owned 4 of them plus a factory camo Kodiak ( think it was a Kodiak Special ).
Limb resonance is common w the old Bears and a Sims magic mushroom or Bowtech type band on each can quiet em down.
Ebay and stickbow.coms " leatherwall" have bears for sale. Check current pricing there
RMS gear sells em too. Big Jim Bowhunting has some on his site as well ( usually ).
Remember, now is the wrong time to buy a bow and stores typically get more than sales by individuals.
Asking price and selling price can differ as well.
Having said all that, a clean old Bear of lighter poundage would be a cool present under the Xmas tree.
With that, some folks want somethng and pay top dollar.

45# should help w the sale.
I had a 38# in tiger maple, two brown 50# and a 45#. Two of mine were also 56", not 58".
Coworker had a low 50s green one.
He wouldnt sell it.
Would like to try a new version K mag in green ( FF rated ).

FWIW 3 rivers sells decent flemish strings, Bear Paw I think is one brand ( brown n yellow ).
Put them on several recurves. No complaints

Had the 56 and 58 standard Grizzly, sold them but kept the Super Grizzly with Fascor. Still have two Victor take down and the Kodiak Hunter as well as the Tigercat. That bow is a bit longer, 62", and more comfortable to shoot.
Keep the bow, get a string and arrows and start shooting it.

I sold a really nice 50# Grizzly last week, it was an older green one that still had the stickers advertising the “new” accessory ferrule in the riser. Think I gave $165 for it 7 or 8 years ago and I got $200 out of it.
