I was in my spot well before daylight, just starting to lighten up...nothing yet...no Beav nor Sandbillys yet, still early...patients is a must.. Whooosh.....shwaakkkk....got him....looked like a solid hit...ohhh mannn, I'm shaking so bad....I held out for the much larger fatter buck....I knew he was there, could of got Sandbilly but I knew the larger Beav would step out... Go have a look...clip clop clip clop...ohhh man...a big fat one..  You gonna field mount it? Beav likes really, really gay butt sex.. I'm gonna just let the Taxidermist mount it LOL How much to mount a beaver? Asking, so I know how much to charge SB. 🦫

I'll be out in the morning with my 6x45, hoping to see a big loner doe or 2.
(I sure hope our power is back on before then. I need some real, uninterrupted sleep. Fueling the generator in the wee hours is cutting into my beauty sleep.)

So far those two bucks are the only thing I’ve seen. Well, except the noisy azz Canada Geese 40 yards away in the river.

What are all those snow machine tracks doing in the sand? You guys need to move north...... Getting near perfect here- in the teens with 16" of snow on the ground, probably 4' up in the hills where our play cabin is. Some people! True - a few days ago it was in the 20's. Below. I just come in from cuttings up a tree that was across the road it 27 and sunny here outside of Cadillac, I filled my doe tag tus. Evening. Happy Hunting!

4 minutes to quitting time, the same two bucks trotted back through.
They passed my blind heading West. I had parked my 4wheeler well West of my blind, so I gave them 15 minutes to vacate the area.
I exited the blind and headed for the 4 wheeler only to find in the red beam of my headlamp that the two idiots were right next to the Honda.
I almost shot them for being stupid, but bucks aren’t legal in this season.
