Oakster Campfire Tracker O Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 4,113 Wyoming	I recently purchased one of these used, in minty condition. I bought some Talley rings for it and the base screws are too small in diameter to fit the rifle. The Talley model is for 84 M 8-40 which I assume are 8-40 screws. Did these rifles come tapped for bigger screws or did the previous owner have it retapped? Last edited by Oakster; 07/04/23.
