I recently got a High Country Excalibur with quiver, rest and sight pins. I know very little about archery , and am looking for any information you may be able to provide . Is the bow of decent quality? I am thinking of buying some arrows and a couple of target blocks and trying to learn a bit shooting it. Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks

high country is a respectabie bow. buy some carbon arrows and it won't take you long to shoot like a pro.

Yes, it is a good bow. High Country is a good company.

If my memory serves me right thats an older bow, early-mid '90's, that was one of the smokinest bows in its day.

You just need to make sure that the bow is set up for YOU. Any archery shops around that can help set up what you have and get you started in the right direction?

As long as the draw length is correct for you, you are good to go.

Have fun. Any pictures of your new score BTW?

They're made in the next county over. Good quality manufacturing and product warranty. If there's a problem with the bow they'll correct it.

High Countries are nice light bows. I would love to hve one but they ARE HARD TO FIND AROUND HERE. Shot a new one yesterday and it was a sweet shooter. Guy just bought it and wanted to know what i thought. May have to take a trip when i'm in the market for another bow.
