Should be a nice ride, will likely have a big appetite but that's to be expected.
Stick a pro charger on it and a tune and it should run very well and pull even better.

Looking at Stainless Works headers and Cat Back. A tune and Turbo or Supercharger would be unreal. This big block has so much unlocked potential.

That sounds like a good rig. Looking forward to what you think about that truck and engine. I've been considering something similar.

I am part of the team that made and rolled the steel for the crankshafts on those motors. It is good material.

I bought an F-550 last year with the 7.3L gas engine, 10 speed, but 4.88 gears. We put 5 tons on it every day and it pulls fine. The diesel is $10K more and then you have all of the headaches of all of the exhaust BS. Plus the diesels cost more to fix in the long run. Enjoy.

Yes sir. I’ve got a 2019 F350 with the Diesel currently that I bought new. It has 10,000 miles on it and they are offering me $12K more than I paid for it new. Interesting times…

I own a 2021 250 Super Duty with the 7.3. Having been a Cummins guy for the past 15 years,I have to say I like it. Traded my 2017 Ram for it.This is going to be my retirement truck. I pull a 8000# TT and it does very well on hills and such. You'll like it

I sure love mine! Been there, done that, with the turbo diesels. The 7.3 gas is the first real option for guys not wanting to play the diesel drama game. Post up some pics when you get it!

Saw a new 2022 Tundra on the road and for the first time in 20 years put money down on a Ford. Ford F250 Lariat, 7.3, crew cab, locking 3.55 axle. Wanted a heavy half ton and figured this would do. Guess we'll both see how long it takes to make one.

Wow, $12K more than you paid new!. That's nuts. I have a 2019 F350 that I bought new. I'm at 40k.

How many miles does yours have?

10,500 miles
Crazy part is I think I could get more if I wanted to fool with selling it myself or got quotes from other dealers. I only have Carmax offer and the dealer that I ordered from. Both offers were within a few hundred dollars of each other. Keep in mind that I get A/Z Plan pricing….so all of these figures are based on that discount.
I think I remember you buying that truck within a month or so of me buying mine.

Last fall - brother got 9k more for his plain jane Silverado than he paid for it. Had 17k on it. Dealer bought it cash - not a trade in/fuzzy math deal.

Brother took the cash to a different dealer and bought a Jeep for the wife.

Better not wait on your big trade in offers. Things will be changing soon.

Congrats to you guys on getting actual trucks with solid front axles, full floating rear axles, supensions and engines that can haul real weight.

Toyota is still in a truck infancy. To not even offer a 3/4 ton in year 2022, embarassing.....
