I decided a few years back to keep my battery rather simple so most can shoot the same bullets and powders.

So interesting you think hunting is like golf… 😆. I've gone the other way. I have hunting rifles. That's it. IME - most of us are either a gun guy or a hunter, not hardcore at both. Same here Greg. I've whittled mine down substantially to only what I hunt with.
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

I keep the mementos of past hunts & family members gone. I’ve got five 300 Mags & six 270 Wins - for that reason - they were our family cartridges of choice for years. Others, more efficient, I just like to shoot for practice and to keep reloading skills sharp but I don’t really hunt with them. The hunting guns get tuned up sweet & a load picked out and locked in for specific purposes but don’t all see equal range time - they are more mission specific.

This thread is useless without pictures. Ain't no way I'm hauling them out for pics. And also only listed cartridges. Added how many of each, deleted that. They are all unscoped Savage Axis😉 Long ago lessons from Dad. Don't tell your hunting/fishing spots, where you were successful, or too much about your valuables. It's either bragging or stupid. Maybe both.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
