Rio,

Thanks for your reply.

That's why I keep my AI, but am waiting for a deal on a 6 Creed to play with.

I think you're right.

My standard deer load for years in a 700 bdl 6mm rem was a 100g Hornady btsp over imr4831. I killed lots of deer and other things with that. Finally changed powders when hogden extremes came out but imr worked well for years.

My 6mm Creedmoor likes 108 eldms over h4350. Very accurate and consistent and took a buck a few years back at about 425 yards. The bullet held up well at that distance. IIRC it expanded to about .5" and weighed about 80 grains with a nice looking mushroom. Found it under the hide on the offside shoulder.

I just put together a 6mm CM from parts I had laying around. Buddy that shoots PRS gave me his take off barrel with about 1K rounds down it. He said it was still shooting 1/4 MOA groups but that he figured that it may have another 200 rounds or so of good before the barrel went so he replaced it. The load he was shooting is a 109 Berger using R16 powder. I don't have any R16 but have R15 and R17, does anyone know how the 3 compare and which one I should try?
He said it did well with H4350 as well and I have some of that so I may load up some and give that a try.

pullit, My 6 Creed, likes 4350, but i have a lot more 4831, and it works as well or better, i tried R-16 and R-17, both were ok but 4831 shines. Rio7

Thanks for the info, I found some R16 but by the time I paid shipping and fees it was going to be around $80/lb as they limited you to 2 lbs. I don't need it that bad.

pullit, There are a lot of powders that will work, some are better than others, use what you have or can get for now, till you can find what you want. Rio7

It’s too bad the 107 Sierra isn’t a hunting bullet. Impact after impact for me today at 800 yards.

If your shooting steel out to or past 1000 yrds, you can't beat the 107 gr SMK.

The 107 Sugar is rather disappointing with it's .547 BC,though the 110 is simply stellar at .617. Hint.

Seems they are pointing the 107's now & that's bumped the BC. Still not 110 territory, but better.

And...Great shooting Rio!

I reckon my Sugar disdain as a whole,is fhuqking Legendary, but if only in fairness...the .243" 110 is exceptional. Mainly because I simply shoot it all and then some,in dozens of rifles. Hint..............
